• Worked as Manager Finance and Accounts in (TSP) which gave experience of starting up and managing the finance & accounts department together with recruitment of vacancies of Manager Trade (imports), Assistant Accounts Executive, Assistant Finance Executive, Assistant Manager Accounts and training and growth of Assistants to Junior Assistants.
• My responsibility also included overseeing and managing the accounts of TSP and its wholly owned subsidiary named Tech Sirat Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd (TST) engaged in providing after sales services of smartphones. Overall for both Companies, my responsibilities included the following:

Finance & Accounts:
Budgeting and Cash flow forecasting (short term + long term), its presentation to Board and reviews of daily cash positioning and supervising daily payments made by finance executive.
Dealing with bankers for financing facilities, negotiations, compliances with requirements etc.
Review and correction of entries in monthly accounts closing process together with final Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss & presentations.
Review, approval and submission of monthly financial statements.
Coordination with auditors and review of financial statements and preparation of audit file and disclosures, for finalisation and signing by Directors / CEO.

Operations:
Review and reporting on sales, purchases, banking facilities, repayments of loans etc.
Coordination with software consultants, secretarial consultants, tax consultants and implementation and updating of Accounting Software for both Companies.
Managing the receivables and payables with Principal (trade suppliers). Review and approval of product costing and margin analysis.
Reviews of credit facilities, recoveries, aging status and coordination with GM Sales for corrective measures.
Supervision and oversight of sales accounting function and its personnel.

Working experience in KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co, Chartered Accountants (Karachi) as Assistant Manager and also completed four-year mandatory training as Trainee Student prescribed by the bye laws of the ICAP from the same , during which my key responsibilities includes the following:

- Job planning, supervision and execution, including close liaison with clients’ middle and senior management;
- Assessing business and audit risks, coordinating with professionals of various fields like legal, actuarial and IT experts and decision-making for resolution of critical reportable matters;
- Evaluating internal control systems, identifying control weaknesses and making appropriate recommendations to the management;
- Compliance with KPMG risk management practices;
- On-job training and professional development of sub-ordinates.
