I am a Chartered Certified Accountant (Acca Member), holding Masters of Commerce Equivalency & Bachelors of Commerce from Karachi University with 5 years of corporate exposure, presently serving as a Project Budget and Cost Controller in Gasco Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, a Private organization working in Oil and Gas Field for Last 40 years in Pakistan and has diversified itself in businesses in offering its Engineering Services to its Local and International Clients.
Started my Corporate Professional career from Digicom Trading (Pvt) Q-mobile Ltd as an Acca Management Trainee. Q-mobile is one of the Leading Company in its Industry capturing a significant Market Share after completing my successful Trainee period I was promoted to Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance where I discharged my duties. In my professional experience I covered all areas of Finance, Accounts and also worked in Budgeting & Costing.
Apart from my Industry exposure I am also having teaching exposure where I taught different Professional Qualifications like ACCA (UK), CIMA (UK) & CMA (USA), Conducted Guest Speaker Sessions at Bahria University and Pf Kiet University.

Project Budget & Cost Controller
• Preparation of Tender for Bidding for the Projects after performing Calculations.
• Preparation of Budgets for the Projects taken up.
• Preparation of Variance Report between Budget & Actual, Project wise on Monthly basis and on completion of Projects.
• Identifying the reasons for both Favorable and Adverse Variances and taking necessary actions to reduce them for the upcoming Projects.
• Physical Inspection Visits on Project sites to evaluate the progress and taking preemptive actions necessary to cut down wastage and reduce unnecessary cost.
• Conducting Meetings with Project Managers when necessary to enhance the Productivity and cost effectiveness of Projects.
• Reviewing the Costs and generating the ideas to achieve Value for Money.
• Attending Meetings with Directors to review the Projects progress on regular Interval of Time.
Assistant Manager Finance
• Preparation of Financial Statements on Monthly and Yearly Basis.
• Coordination with External Auditors relating to Matters pertaining to Financial Statements.
• Coordination with Tax Consultants, Legal Advisors and Bankers when required
• Preparation of “Gross Profit Model wise” on Regular Intervals and Identifying Top Models of the month.
• Monitoring Monthly and Weekly Tax Payments & Tax Fillings in FBR.
• Preparation of “Expense Summary” & “Expense Variance Report” on Weekly, Monthly & Yearly Basis.
• Addressing notices received from FBR & SRB and responding them.
• Reviewing the Updation of Running and Cash Finance Limits acquired from Different Banks.
• Reviewing the Verification of the Markup amounts due on Term Loans and Overdrafts Facilities.
• Reviewing the Bills processed and the taxable amount calculated on bills.
• Supervision of accruals of “Gift Schemes Payable” and “Scratch Cards Payable” on monthly basis.
• Planning for the tenure and amount of investments in TDRs according to financial needs.
• Updating and processing the inter-company transactions and its tracking on periodic basis.
• Perform analyses of the rates and calculation on mark up on running finance from different banks.
• Reviewing the receiving and recording of donations and keeping track against relevant expense
• Keep liaison with banks for their time to time documentation requirements for limits availed.
