UNHCR SHS-Kits Distribution (3 Districts of Balochistan Jaffarabad, Naseerabad, Sohbat Pur)

Save the Children Early Recovery Assistance Disaster Affectee (ERADA) ECHO Funded project. Worked on 4 Components, Emergency in Education, Child Protection, WASH, MPCA .
(1) Education in Emergency

 Educates the committee to find out Drop Out Children and re-enroll them at their respective Temporary Learning Center (TLC).
Enrolled 11 to 14 years adolescence Children into No formal Education (NFE) at TLC in Evening shift.
Supportive supervision of Facilitators at TLC regarding curriculum preparation.
Conducts Education Session regarding Health & Hygiene to TLC children and School Staff.
To, Organized for celebrating special Days in TLC as World Water Day, World Hand Washing Days, Back to school Campings celebrated at School/TLC & Community levels.
To, involve children in games and given to recreational Kits, as they overcome from trauma. In this process which means Psycho Social Support of the children.
To, endorse the PTSMC committee of School.
To train the PTSMC committee for the welfare of Schools.

(2) Multi Purpose Cash assistance (MPCA)

Organized Village Development Committee (VDC)
Organized Broad Based Committee with the support of VDC and select Volunteers/ and VDC Committee members, they support us to detect the poor families of the respective village Less than income 15000/=
To identify beneficiaries and facilitate amounts as per project policy design. * Conducted session for proper utilization of MPCA.
Conducted Door to Door assessment with support of VDC members.

(3) WASH

Prepared Hygiene committees at Community level.
Worked both components Hard and Soft. Conduct awareness session of WASH/Health and Hygiene session at School/TLC and community level with support of VDC/Child Club.
To, educate them for ODF.
Teaches the community and Schools/TLC level Children to proper use of Latrine & prevent of Open Defecation ODF free.

(4) Child Protection

Prepared to Child Clubs in every selected Schools.
Prepared to the Child Protection Committee (CPC) Community level.
Educates to Community for referral
machnism. Regarding referral to Child to Hospitals nearby in case of illness.
The CPC Committee is responsible for preventing child labouring.

 To Prepare material and deliver Health Education Sessions , massages and topics addressed to different populations  regarding hygiene, diseases and prevention.
 To ensure all the patients and  care takers  are well informed, according to protocols, about Health related issues and services provided.
 To monitor Health situations and living conditions of the population by  conducting nutritional screening, collecting information related to food security, checking vaccination status of children, looking actively for any defaulters in programs that require this type of research, collecting information  on number of people arriving are leaving the community, births and deaths in the community, etc.
 To identify people with medical problems, contact with medical team and report for immediate transfer if needed.
 To provision of quality Health education regarding communicable and non-communicable disease to local community  and displace populations at MSF Health clinics.
 To identify need for patients education and provide education and materials on disease prevention, management, self care and medication adherence.  
To report to  supervisor any Health situation in the site of  intervention including life style and hygiene  practices. 

To, Participates in need assessments, Participatory Rural Appraisals, feasibility studies, stakeholder analysis and community consultation.
To, Support the development of agreements and MoUs with community based organizations or other civil society groups.
To, Mobilizes the community in the effective use of the community resources.
To, Mobilize Communities for the prioritizing of recovery activities and strategies.
To, Facilitates the capacity building and setup of representative community committees.
To, Maximize beneficiary contribution. * To, Participate in NFI distribution.
To, Support in the development of IEC materials for all activities implemented.
To, Support and supervise daily skilled and unskilled workers/ project volunteers and give them useful instruction regarding their work improvement, through coordination with the each relevant skilled staff.
To, Ensure on time completion of the tasks in line with BoQs and designs.
To, Supervise the unloading of the materials on site as well as quality and quantity of the items.
To, Control that construction materials and tools are used properly, and complete waybills to accompany any movement of stock/ tools between location in the field/ between the base and field.
