Managed multi-tiered organization of Karachi Wireless (the Largest Communication Center of Pakistan Navy) by leading 350+ officers and men and providing communication services to Shore Headquarters/Units, Ships, Submarines and Aircraft of Pakistan Navy. Prominent responsibilities included administration and security of Transmitting & Receiving Stations/Communication Centers/Mobile Communication Vans, Navy-wide Wide Area Network, planning/management of communication services for national and multi-national naval exercises, and navy-wide implementation of diversified communication and cryptographic equipment.

Headed the communication training establishment of Pakistan Navy by leading 30+ instructors and providing basic and advanced training in the fields of radio and telecommunications to officers and men of Pakistan Navy and foreign navies. Additional responsibilities include conducting vulnerability & threat assessment and recommending remedial measures for security of Maritime Operations Training Complex (the largest naval training institution in Asia).

Planned and executed of Mine Countermeasure (MCM) operations by leading a crew of 80+ officers and men. Notable achievements included attaining the highest ranking (Annual Efficiency Award) for the ship in MCMV Squadron, participation in multinational MCM exercises both inland and abroad and voyages to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Adviser to Commander of the Combined Task Force 150 (CTF-150), a multi-national naval force combating terrorism and drug smuggling in Indian Ocean. Specific responsibilities included planning & execution of anti-terrorist/anti-smuggling operations involving multinational ships and aircraft at geographical diversified locations, preparing and presenting concept of operations to higher commanders and multinational audience, engaging regional nations for support of coalition operations, planning and executing visits of the Commander/ships to various regional countries, providing Legal Advice to the Commander and ships engaged in anti-terrorism and anti-smuggling operations and managing Public Relation activities.

Adviser to the Commander Pakistan Fleet on all communication aspects of the naval operations and administration/security of the Fleet units (establishments, ships, submarines and aircraft). Prominent responsibilities included preparation/execution of communication plans for naval exercises, training of communication personnel, organizing visits of local/foreign dignitaries, managing conduct of ceremonial functions, seminars, planning conferences for multinational exercises, managing HR aspects of Fleet personnel and conducting the Security Audit of the Fleet units.

Adviser to the Director of Signals (Senior-most Executive responsible for all communication activities in Pakistan Navy) on all aspects naval communications. Notable functions included induction of communication/cryptographic equipment (feasibility study, initial budgetary proposals, contract negotiations, trials and final acceptance), Navy-wide distribution/management of communication/ cryptographic equipment and frequency planning/management. Successfully managed projects included determining satellite bandwidth requirement for entire Pakistan Navy during the development phase of PAKSAT-1R and yearly phase-wise radio/cryptographic equipment replacement program for the entire Navy.

Imparted classroom instructions on Telecommunications, Digital Communications, Information Security, Message Processing, and Cryptography and Network Security to Pakistani & foreign students. Conceived training simulators (WAN Simulator and Morse Trainer) and prepared Project Definition Documents (PDD) for development of these simulators.

Adviser to Commanding Officer for communication/Electronic Warfare aspects of naval operations. Headed the communication and Electronic Warfare departments of the ship involving all operational, administrative, training, Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development activities.
