Directly Responsible to supervise manufacturing operations of Car AC (Radiator, Condenser, Heater) and HVAC plant and ensuring volume, quality and cost goals are met as per targets with focus on Lean manufacturing systems, continuous improvement productivity, 5S and HSE.
·         Ensure proper utilization of resources consisting of 110 workers on shift basis, regarding their best allocation and utilizing their skills efficiently for maximum production output.
·         Directly responsible for in-time production planning and man management.
·         Developed comprehensive yearly budgets for production, strategically allocating funds to optimize capital expenditures (CapEx) and streamline operating expenses (OpEx).
·         Implementation of TQM methodologies to streamline processes, resulting in reduction in production defects and increase in overall product quality
·         Utilized CP and CPK to ensure product quality and process capability, achieving consistent results within specified tolerances.
·         In coordination with the Maintenance team for planning of Spare management for critical machines.
·         Supporting Maintenance team for preventive maintenance, repairs, analysis of breakdowns and improvement projects.
·         Maintaining Daily Production Charts, Skill Chart and Shift Summary Report.
·         Study, analyse, develop and update work instructions/SOPs and ensure proper implementation on production floor.
·         Implement and maintain Kaizen & 5S culture to increase productivity, quality, ergonomics and safety.
·         Implementation of QCC (Quality Control Circle) in department to provide solutions to eliminate issues that are making hurdles in production.
·         Monitor & minimize the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) during production. 
·         Set production targets utilizing YAMAZUMI Chart methodology in order to maintain overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and man minutes per unit (MMPU) by optimizing Value Added Activities (VA) and eliminating Non Value Added Activities (NVA).
·         Take corrective actions emanating from customer complaints and in-house production issues through the Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis process.
·         Take necessary initiatives to enhance production capacity through time & motion study and overall process improvement in order to achieve cost savings, overtime reduction and minimal material wastage.
·         Coordinate with production engineering & part development teams to undertake any product changes and new product development required by OEMs and aftermarket requirement.
·         Handle customer requirements & complaints related to product quality.
·         Ensure all training needs of Production staff are evaluated, completed, and renewed as needed and provide them proper on the job training for developing the required skill set.
·         Ensuring Audit compliance as per IATF (International Automotive Task Force), QMS, EMS and OHSAS standards.
·         Ensuring Production as per Control Plan (CP) standards and carried out Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

To maintain KPI’s which is bases on Productivity, quality, cost and Safety.

To maintain standardize documents according to ISO, TS and IATF Standards.

To look after Cost control like Budget and consumable cost related to production department.

To look after the warranty and aftermarket complains.

 Manage daily Production targets.

 Planning and Scheduling of Maintenance activities.

 Trouble shooting process problems.
