Analysis, Motion Amplification (IRIS-M), Thermography,
Acoustic Emission Testing, and learning the data collection
skills for analysis

I did my graduation in mechanical engineering from UET Lahore and my favorite subjects are mechanics of materials , machine design, fluid mechanics, thermodyanmics, IC engines and industrial materials.

Worked as an Internee inspection Engineer in QA & QC departments under highly skillful team and learnt the technically
problem-solving techniques.
• Worked in Assembly line and learnt about the assembly process of exhaust system, catalytic converter,
suspension system, radiators, gear box, Engine & fuel tanks etc.
• Worked in welding shop (Gas welding, spot welding, stick welding etc.)
• Understanding about the visual management/Automation with human Intelligence (Jidoka Lean Method)
• Understanding about the final inspection like Interior & Exterior observation, shower test, Co2 test, Turning
radius, wheel alignment, and Axle/Brake test etc.

Worked as an Internee Engineer in the Departments of Machine workshop, Diesel and Lube-Oil Laboratory, Maintenance &
Repairing department, Safety and Management Department.
• During internship I worked on different mechanical projects, especially on four stroke and Two stroke diesel engines
which is a part of GMCU (1500 Hp) and HBU (2000 Hp) locomotives. I also worked on the overhauling of diesel
engine which gives me a chance to understood the internal and external construction of four stroke and two stroke diesel
engines.
• During Internship I performed and learnt different inspection tests like Crankshaft Deflection Test (checking the
alignment of crankshaft), Fuel injector Testing (spray of fuel should be properly atomized and uniform through all the
holes of the nozzle), Blow-By Test (checking the internal leakage in combustion chamber), Hydraulic Testing
(checking the leakage in the cylinder head), Horse power Test (measuring the horse power of Locomotives), Ultrasonic
Test (used to detect flaws such as cracks and leaks of axles) and Lube-oil test (checking the impurities and viscosity of
lube oil).
• I also learnt about the working of compressor, Turbocharger, supercharger, Governor, Heat Exchanger, Boilers, Lubeoil system, cooling system, fuel supply system and suspension system of locomotives.
