I engineered detailed design of piping including isometrics, pressure drop calculations, piping support, Bill of Materials (BOM), materials selection, and cost estimation that resulted in the completion of the project within the given deadline. I enabled PSL to increase production capacity, thereby increasing their revenue by 50%.
As a team leader in the fabrication and erection of steel structures, I helped PSL upgrade its utilities and saved up to $20,000 by working with in-house labor compared to handing over the work to 3rd party contractor, this boosted my confidence and developed my project management skills.
I prepared and issued RFQs and compared vendor quotations for all the material requirements.

·      Capitalized previous non-lucrative liabilities into assets, I came up with a creative idea to not only improve the design but also extend the useful life of a horizontal boring mill by using an involute spline (ANSI B92.1). Therefore, I helped Shipyard develop the ability to win tenders involving the use of this machine with a potential cash inflow of $40,000 annually.
·      As a project leader in designing the spline, I led and managed my team into the successful completion of the project within the given constraints that resulted in developing my team management skills.
·      My project management skills evolved when I supervised the machining process of that spline with the help of my technical drawing on AUTOCAD and oversaw its installation into the gearbox of that machine.

·      Used condition monitoring tools to help with predictive maintenance of centrifugal pumps by analyzing vibration from vibration sensors to reduce unscheduled downtime
·      Performed corrective maintenance and identified failures by visual inspection of pump parts
·      Applied proactive maintenance strategy by taking responsibility for balancing of pump and motor with the help of a laser shaft alignment tool.
