خلاصہ

I am an Environmentalist having the detailed concepts of natural sciences and incorporating the techniques and values of strong sustainability into the working systems of NGOs and consultancies through natural resource management. I am a trained and certified Carbon Auditor and because of this qualification I stand out from the crowd in terms of formulating and implementing Climate Change Policies and Strategies. I tried to make a difference through this specific qualification and experience by training a panel consisting of Environmental experts from International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN-Pakistan), Ministry of Environment (Climate Change Division) Pakistan and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF-Pakistan). I have trained stakeholders from public and private firms from all over Pakistan towards a broader scope on Clean Development Mechanism.

In the present capacity of a Research Associate I have developed a project focusing Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Strategy through the inclusion of renewable energy in the manufacturing units of a fossil fuel dependent sector the project in under consideration for funding approval by the relevant agency. During my course work on Environmental Modelling and environmental economics I have learnt to integrate the externalities related to climate change and environmental services with costs pertaining to disaster management and control.
