My core responsibilities as a junior editor for Folio Books were to act as an intermediary channel between the editor in chief and the writers who wanted to get their work published, often proofreading before sending it to the Editor in chief. I often had to write from scratch as well as editing content to bring it up to standard, follow up with the writers and ensuring that the projects were concluded in due time.
Working at MCB as an intern was a very enlightening six week experience. I got rotated in each banking role often and in turn closely got to observe how each person fulfilled the responsibilities of their job description.
It enabled me to create an accurate final year report which was a mandatory requirement for completion of my ACF Degree.
I critically observed, analyzed and evaluated the dealings of my host organisation which enabled me to offer an insight through suggestions, financial calculations and SWOT Analysis i carried out.
In my nine months at Wolf Events, I rendered my services in several events including various MUNs such as SICAS MUN, NGS MUN etc. Our core team managed various concerts and shows in FC College, Kinnaird College, SICAS and LGS. I found myself handling different departments based on the need of the hour quite often and always diligently carried out my duties.
§ Orchestrated BNU’s biggest annual event, ‘BESTIVAL’ as a Production Head for Wolf Events managing a team of five people. This 3 day event was attended by more than 3000 students from across Pakistan.
§ Managed the 75th Anniversary of HBL’s Sargodha Region in September of 2016 through Wolf Events
§ Two people won the role of brand associate out of a 100 applicants post interview.
§ Helped educate students regarding social issues, provided access to underprivileged students at prestigious AIESEC events in order to nurture diversity & progressiveness in their personalities.
§ Placed in SAM department of the main head branch of NIB. Assisted My Superiors in sorting out key information relevant to the recovery cases. It was for 4 weeks.
