We are seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer who will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Windows-based systems, Microsoft Exchange Server, Office365, and Lync/Skype for Business. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and a thorough knowledge of system administration and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration: Manage and maintain Windows-based systems ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Microsoft Exchange Server: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange Server environments.
Office365 Management: Administer and support Office365 environments, including user management, security settings, and system configurations.
Lync/Skype for Business: Manage and troubleshoot Lync/Skype for Business environments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of systems.
Security and Compliance: Ensure systems are secure and compliant with organizational policies and industry standards.
Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to protect organizational data.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.
User Support: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of post-qualification experience in system administration.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in managing Windows-based systems.
Strong experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, Office365, and Lync/Skype for Business.
Knowledge of system architecture and administration best practices.
Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting system performance issues.
Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures.
Understanding of security and compliance requirements.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
