We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial management within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries.
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Assist in managing invoices, payments, and expense tracking.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Manager to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Help with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Provide support during audits and assist in implementing audit recommendations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
