We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with experience in developing custom themes and plugins, integrating REST APIs, and working with WooCommerce. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as experience with PHP frameworks and version control using GitHub.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Integrate REST APIs to enhance website functionality and connect with third-party services.
- Implement and manage WooCommerce for e-commerce websites.
- Write clean, well-documented code using PHP, HTML/CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and a seamless user experience.
- Manage MySQL databases and ensure data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our projects are current and competitive.
- Use GitHub for version control and collaborate with team members on code reviews and project management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficient in WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and PHP frameworks.
- Experience with HTML/CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with REST API integration.
- Hands-on experience with WooCommerce.
- Proficient in MySQL database management.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with headless WordPress development.
- Familiarity with other content management systems and e-commerce platforms.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
