Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation and Setup:

  • Assist in preparing the operating room for hair transplant procedures, ensuring cleanliness and proper organization.
  • Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies required for the procedure.
  • Ensure adequate lighting, positioning of surgical chairs, and setup of video monitoring if applicable. 

Patient Preparation:

  • Greet and escort patients to the operating room, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns.
  • Help patients are settled on the surgical chair or table and provide any necessary draping.
  • Assist with local anaesthesia administration, if needed.

 Sterile Procedures:

  • Adhere to strict aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
  • Assist with gowning and gloving the surgical team to prevent contamination.
  • Handle sterile instruments, supplies, and implantation tools as required.

 Instrumentation and Equipment:

  • Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon and medical team during the procedure.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and alert the surgical team to any issues that arise.
  • Assist with the setup and operation of specialized hair transplant equipment, such as microscopes or implanters.

Dissection, Loading and Placing:

  • Compulsory participation in dissection, loading & placing in all surgeries planned for the day.
  • Supervision of trainees of during dissection, loading and placing

PRP & Nano Fat Stem Cell Therapy Assistance:

  • Must be able to do pain free and independent PRP process.
  • Provide assistance during Nano Fat Stem Cell injection process. 

Communication and Patient Care:

  • Ensure patient care pre, post and follow up of the surgery.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

  • Ensure proper document relevant to the surgery and the patient.
