We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager - Production to lead our steel plastic furniture manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand, ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.
2. Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
3. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of production staff, including supervisors, engineers, and technicians, to achieve production goals and objectives.
4. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
5. Supply Chain Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and components.
6. Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
7. Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure that all production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
8. New Product Development: Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new products and processes, ensuring efficient and effective production.
9. Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and manage production budgets, forecasts, and reports, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
10.Communication: Foster effective communication with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and logistics teams.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in production management, preferably in the steel plastic furniture industry.
3. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality management.
4. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of production planning, process improvement, and quality control, with experience in managing budgets and forecasts.
Extra Qualifications:
1. MBA or Master's degree: An MBA or Master's degree in a related field is desirable.
2. Certifications: Certifications in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or quality management are advantageous.
3. Industry experience: Experience in the steel plastic furniture industry or a related field is preferred.
