Instrument Technician

As an Instrument Technician at EPRF, you play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of instrumentation used in various processes. With a strong background in instrumentation calibration, process control systems, and safety compliance, you are responsible for monitoring and maintaining equipment to enhance operational efficiency. You will perform tests and inspections, calibrate instruments to meet calibration standards, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Your analytical problem-solving skills are essential for data analysis and identifying areas for equipment improvement. Although this position does not require managing a team, strong collaboration with engineers and other technical staff is vital to successfully execute projects and ensure compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities

Conduct regular calibration and maintenance of instrumentation systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Inspect and test instrumentation and control systems, including electrical wiring and process control equipment.
Utilize analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving instrumentation and control systems.
Implement calibration standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations during testing and inspections.
Operate various test equipment and instrumentation to gather data for analysis and report findings.
Support loop tuning of process systems to optimize performance and accuracy of measurements.
Write and maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, calibration results, and maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system designs and resolve instrumentation-related challenges.
Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and industry standards regarding instrumentation and process control.
