Accountant / Bookkeeper

We are seeking a Remote Accountant / Bookkeeper with 1 to 2 years of accounting experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Commerce. The ideal candidate will possess excellent spoken English skills and advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience with QuickBooks is considered a plus.

As a remote work-from-home position, candidates must have a minimum computer configuration that supports the necessary accounting software and virtual collaboration tools. Additionally, the candidate should be willing to work from 7 pm to 3 am PST to our operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and financial statements.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address accounting-related inquiries.
Conduct various data analysis projects in Excel / Advance Excel

Requirements:

Min 1 to 2 years of accounting experience.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
Proficiency in spoken English for effective communication.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Experience with QuickBooks (preferred but not mandatory).
Reliable computer setup to efficiently perform remote accounting tasks.
Availability to work from 7 pm to 3 am PST.
