  • Monitor and track production variances to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain standard cost models for all products.
  • Analyze and report on product profitability and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in new product development and provide cost analysis for new products.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to product cost accounting.
  • Train and supervise cost accounting staff.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production processes and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
  • Participate in budget planning and forecasting for product costs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost accounting.
  • Promote a culture of cost consciousness and continuous improvement within the organization.
