A Manager of Quality Control (QC) ensures that all products meet regulatory standards, quality requirements, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all pharmaceutical products adhere to local and international regulations (such as DRAP,GMP, WHO, FDA).
Stay updated with regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments in quality processes.
Lead quality control tests for raw materials, in-process items, and final products
Implement and monitor the quality management system (QMS) to ensure continuous compliance.
Supervise laboratory testing for pharmaceutical products.
Testing, and analysis of drugs, ingredients, and production processes.
Ensure accurate documentation of all QC activities, lab tests, batch records, and certificates of analysis.
Prepare reports for internal review.
Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies, lab efficiencies, and production quality.
Develop strategies to reduce product defects and enhance quality standard

Qualifications & Experience:

B-pharm/Pharm-D or a related field.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in reputable pharmaceuticals’ quality control, with a deep understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements.
Experience in Sterile Products Testing will be preferable.
Have experience of Performance analysis on HPLC, Operation / know how of ASS, TOC, LPC, FTIR, UV, Dissolution apparatus, Titrimetric testing etc.
In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations in Pakistan and globally.
