We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage all financial day-to-day activities, budgeting, and all bank-related matters. Also, the candidate should have good knowledge and experience in international trade, Incoterms, and international financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Verify payments and deposits made through the company account and coordinate with the bank.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Compute the currency exchange rates.
- Manage payroll activities and release salaries.
- Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, contractors, and vendors.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
- Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, and preparing reports.
- Helped the procurement department finalize and prepare the quotation.
Requirements and skills
- 05 Years of Work experience as an Accountant.
- Must have Banking experience and also have knowledge about LCs and bank Guarantees.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree
