Prior to entering communities, ACTED held consultation with all the stakeholders present in the target area.
ACTED will also work with community leaders to establish/strengthen School Management Committees (SMCs) which will lead on beneficiary identification. By demonstrating concrete community involvement in the project, SMCs increase community buy-in and enable the communities to identify the most vulnerable individuals/HHs. SMCs will receive training to sensitize the communities on Child protection, safeguarding, DRR and other topics.
