You will be responsible for leading and supervising client-facing teams to plan, execute, and complete audit engagements for Private Limited companies and Non-Profit organizations. You will ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing and local regulatory frameworks while maintaining a strong client relationship. This role involves cross-functional experience, where you will work closely with clients and internal teams to meet engagement expectations and deliver quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit teams in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements in line with International Standards on Auditing and local regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to effectively manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Review and ensure the quality, accuracy, and relevance of audit work performed by the team.
  • Assist other departments, such as tax and financial advisory, in finalizing their work related to audit, including tax workings.
  • Analyze data to identify additional issues and challenge previously identified issues to draw informed conclusions.
  • Ensure audit assignments are completed on time and within the allocated budget to maintain the profitability of the organization.
  • Evaluate internal controls, identify control deficiencies, and suggest remedial measures to improve business processes.
  • Review and draft key documents for submission to clients, including management letters, audit reports, and covering letters for specific approvals.
  • Present audit results to financial executives, audit committees, and board members.
  • Manage the engagement economics of multiple audit engagements, including billing and collection of invoices.
  • Prepare and present technical and financial proposals to expand the organization’s client portfolio.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACA/ACCA/CFAP preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing and local regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
